Definition Theatre is one of Chicago's newest and most exciting theatre companies. Their mission is to "... celebrates stories created with, inspired by, and intended for people and communities of color. Through the act of making, Definition expands perspectives, stewards resources, and bridges the possibility found at the intersection of art, innovation, and education."

Definition has only been going for ten years but they already have big plans in the works to build a $1.6 million theatre and community center on Chicago's southside.

The Suquamish Foundation's goal is to revitalize reclaimed Suquamish land, notably a stretch of shoreline that was reclaimed in 2018 that was once part of the Port Madison Reservation. The vision for the land includes a public playground, artists studios, and covered picnic areas.
